Unair Vocational Faculty Holds Training for MSME Batik Jetis Sidoarjo

Sidoarjo, – Airlangga University Vocational Faculty (F Vocational Unair), Saturday (8/10), provided training using the AKUsaha financial application to the Batik Jetis MSME community, Sidoarjo.

The training was given by F Vocational Airlangga University because the batik micro business actors in Jetis Sidoarjo have not been orderly in recording their business finances.

According to the training coordinator, Yanuar Nugroho, the limited use of information technology, venture capital, and an uncertain market share are difficult problems for MSMEs to deal with.

Therefore, the Unair Vocational F Community Service Team coordinated by Yanuar Nugroho, Fitri Retrialisca, and Izmi Dwira Eriani conducted this training.

"The training also involved D3 Accounting F Vocational students on ways to use the AKUsaha financial application for batik micro businesses in Jetis Sidoarjo," said Yanuar.

The training is also to improve the micro business ecosystem in the Batik Jetis Sidoarjo MSME Association in line with the rise of the post-crisis economy due to the C0v1d-i9 pandemic.

Through this activity, the Unair Vocational Faculty Team facilitated MSME financial recording training as well as introduced the AKUSaha application. To make it easier for MSMEs to record business finances.

“AKUSaha is an Android-based application designed by the Faculty of Vocational Education Unair lecturer. The application can be downloaded and installed for free by anyone, especially SMEs in the MSME sector," said Yanuar.

This program is also prepared to improve the ability to make better financial decisions. Such as credit loans, investments, financial projections, to tax obligations.

Through training using the AKUSaha application, a simulation of cash out and incoming cash cases is given by business actors, then inputted to produce an output report file in the form of financial reports.

“This application is quite simple compared to other complicated financial applications. It can even help us calculate the product HPP,” said Giri, one of the MSME players who participated in the training.
