Kembang Rawe Adds Batik Magetan Collection
Krowe Village, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency exhibited the typical "Kembang Krawe" batik along with the closing of the Rawe Flower Festival, Sunday (9/10/2022).
The batik, which was launched by Sarbini, the Head of Krowe Village, together with Suprawoto, the Regent of Magetan, and Sujatno, the Chair of the Magetan DPRD, adds to the collection of typical batik in Magetan Regency.
The name of the batik "Kembang Rawe" is taken from the history of the village of Krowe, which used to be an area overgrown with Rawe plants before being tripped.
Kembang Rawe can also be taken from the abbreviation "Pride of the people of Krowe".
On this occasion the Regent Suprawoto congratulated Krowe Village for launching its batik, and being the 50th craftsman in Magetan to have a distinctive batik.
Furthermore, so that the people's economy can run, apart from wearing uniforms, for example teachers, Kang Woto urges them to also wear special batik.
"So that the batik market can still run in Magetan, by liking and wearing Magetan's special products," he concluded.
