MNC Land Holds MSME Batik Exhibition

Surabaya - Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi appreciated and inaugurated the Batik Exhibition at One East Penthouse & Residence, which was held by PT MNC Land.


Accompanied by PT MNC Land Director Natalia Cecilia Tanu Mayor Djaja and Head of Regional National Crafts (Dekranasda) Rini Indriyani, Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi was impressed by PT MNC Land which cares about the development of SMEs in Surabaya by providing facilities and space for exhibitions in the 5-star hotel area.

At the batik exhibition, the Mayor of Surabaya Eri Cahyadi in particular thanked PT MNC Land for providing the opportunity for 22 Batik Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Surabaya to market their products on the UG floor of One East Penthouse & Residence.

"I thank you very much, this synergy can be used as an example by others. Because with a strong synergy, it will bring the city of Surabaya to be greater," said Mayor Eri Cahyadi.

The mayor, who is familiarly called Cak Eri Cahyadi, revealed that there are many things that can be collaborated between the City Government (Pemkot) and stakeholders, such as the UMKM batik exhibition held by PT MNC Land this time. In addition to synergizing in developing MSMEs, there is also the development of other fields related to employment.

Cak Eri added that the collaboration between the city government and PT MNC Land could make a difference for MSMEs in the city of Surabaya.

"Together with MNC Group, we have actually done a lot. Mrs. Natalia also said that there would be other synergies, she said that Pak Hary Tanoesoedibjo wanted to prioritize CSR," said Cak Eri.

Meanwhile, Director of PT MNC Land Natalia Cecilia Tanudjaja said the batik exhibition was held to coincide with the 15th anniversary of MNC Land. Natalia admitted that Surabaya UMKM batik has good potential and quality.

"Therefore, we need to expose Surabaya batik so that people know that our local batik is of good quality. In the future, we will continue to collaborate in developing MSMEs and the next municipal government program," he said.
