Politeknik AKA Bogor Held Batik's Day
Bogor - AKA Polytechnic Bogor has held a Batik's Day organized by the Saseka Component of Politeknik AKA Bogor, Sunday, October 2, 2022. This event took place at 13.00-15.00 WIB in Building B, 2nd floor of the AKA Polytechnic Bogor, after previously held batik activities together on 29-30 October 2022. On this peak day, several series of events were held such as welcome remarks, Talkshows, Fashion Shows, followed by the announcement of winners and closing.
The talk show was hosted by Santhi Ambarwati as a resource person, she is the manager of Melangit Batik in Cibuluh Batik Village. This talkshow contains sharing related to batik as a characteristic of Indonesian culture. The Fashion Show was attended by several students and students of the Aka Bogor Polytechnic starting from level 1 to level 3.
This event was attended by approximately 90 people. According to Prita, Head of the Event Organizer, Batik's Day 2022 won an 80% score for the success rate due to several obstacles during the implementation from the first day to the third day. "On the first and second days of making batik together to draw the time, the time for each class is different because each class has different hours of return and from the weather on this peak day it rains making the implementation of this event take a long time," said Prita.
According to the views of the audience present, "This event is very cool, very exciting, and at the Fashion Show, the costumes used are good," said the participant. According to them, if given a score based on percent, the score obtained by this event is 100% because they gain knowledge about how to make batik, how to color it, and so on.
At the end of the event, namely the announcement of the winners of the Fashion Show, this competition was won by Tio's brother from class 2A. He didn't think he would win this event. "My hope is that IMAKA residents can cultivate batik in the future," he concluded.
