Iwan Kurniawan Gives Support to Malang MSMEs at Inacraft Jakarta
Walikota of Malang, Iwan Kurniawan visited the stand owned by the Malang City Government (Pemkot) at the Inacraft 2024 event which took place from 2 to 6 October 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
In the event titled Inacraft On October, the stand owned by the Malang City Government brought flagship products from Malang City.
Iwan Kurniawan said that his presence was a form of support and motivation not only for the MSMEs participating in the exhibition, but also for all MSME actors in Malang City.
"We hope that the MSME products participating in the Inacraft Exhibition this time can be better known at the national level, and can provide added value for other craftsmen. So, our MSMEs can move up a class and go international," said Iwan.
The Walikota of Malang also said that Inacraft is the largest craft event in ASEAN countries which aims to raise the spirit and economy of MSMEs, especially for MSMEs in Malang City.
"Through this event, we will encourage together so that MSMEs in Malang City can continue to develop and export to several countries," he continued.
For information, the Malang City Government through the Malang City Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) is carrying 2 MSMEs at Inacraft this time, namely MSME Violink and MSME Bu Farida Ecoprint.
These two MSMEs carry local cultural characteristics with a modern and innovative touch. Some of the products displayed are handbag crafts, hand-drawn batik, ecoprint and several food and beverage products typical of Malang City.
The Inacraft event on October 2024 was opened directly by the Indonesian Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki. Carrying the theme Youthpreuner make it at market, this event was attended by 784 participants, 80 booths from agencies, 27 booths from ministries/BUMN, and 6 international booths.
