Wonogiri Coffee Day and Batik Festivals

Wonogiri Regency Government commemorates World Coffee Day which falls on October 1 and National Batik Day on October 2 by holding a "Wonogiren Coffee and Batik Festival, Saturday-Sunday (1-2/10) at the Giri Krida Bhakti Wonogiri Square. The Regency Government wants to further promote local coffee and Wonogiren batik at the momentum.


The potential of Wonogiri coffee is in 8 sub -districts, namely:

  1. Ndorog Coffee Girimarto District
  2. Jatipurno District
  3. Slogohimo District
  4. Bulukerto District
  5. Blegosari Coffee, Puhpelem
  6. Benggolo coffee, Jatiroto District
  7. Karangtengah coffee
  8. Ngroto Coffee, Tirtomoyo

In addition, in Wonogiri there are also 41 coffee cafes

While the potential of Wonogiren batik there are 21 craftsmen and 1002 batik that are scattered in several districts, namely:

  1. Tirtomoyo: 13 craftsmen, 850 batik
  2. Wonogiri 2 craftsmen, 15 batik
  3. Kismantoro: 1 craftsman, 15 batik
  4. Selogiri: 1 craftsman, 10 batik
  5. Pracimantoro: 1 craftsman, 11 batik
  6. Sidoharjo: 1 craftsman, 25 batik
  7. Ngadirojo (sidobatik): 1 craftsman, 25 batik
